High temperatures are detrimental to the taste of the beverage and diminish its strength due to the evaporation of the alcohol.
Do not leave tequila bottles in the sun or under electric light. Under such conditions, irreversible changes in the composition of the beverage will occur and may cause sedimentation.
The ideal temperature is room temperature between 17 and 20 °C (64-58 °F), in a steep balloon glass.
