High temperatures are detrimental to the flavor of the beverage and diminish its strength due to the evaporation of the alcohol.
Do not leave liqueur bottles in the sun or under electric light. Under such conditions, irreversible changes in the composition of the beverage will occur and may cause sedimentation.
Ideal temperature is room temperature between 6 and 12 °C (43-53 °F). Enjoy it straight, on the rocks or as a key ingredient.
